The HMW Story
From The Marines
To Montana
HMW Services was founded by Ryan Schnitzmeier, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served two combat tours in Iraq. After his military service, Ryan spent 15 years working as an auxiliary technician at a local power plant in Billings.
But Ryan wanted to build something of his own — a business grounded in the core values he learned in the Marines: hard work, discipline, and unwavering integrity. He saw a need in Billings for a junk removal and demolition company that actually showed up on time, communicated clearly, and charged fair, upfront prices without hidden fees.
That vision became HMW Services. Today, we are a family-owned operation serving all of Yellowstone County. When you hire HMW, you aren't dealing with a faceless national franchise or a call center in another state. You're dealing directly with Ryan and his team.
